Burrumbeet Park & Windermere Racing Club

The journey to the Burrumbeet Park & Windermere Racing Club is a short and pleasant trip to the course along the Western Highway, either by car or bus. Return bus transport from Ballarat CBD to track is provided by Gold Bus on the day.  Cost is $10pp.  Bookings are essential - call 03 5335 6767 to book your seat. 
 
The picturesque country club boasts wide open spaces and is safely enclosed allowing for a carefree relaxed day for the whole family.  With an opportunity to get up and close to the racing with a vantage point on the rail along the home straight and plenty of free attractions and entertainment for the kids, the Burrumbeet Cup and New Years Race Day is a great day out!
 
The kids will love an opportunity to get up close to the animals in the animal farm enclosure or burn off some energy on the jumping castle, on the go-karts or just have their face painted.
 
Cup day boasts a 7 race program with the first race at approx 2pm and racing continuing through until 5.50pm.
 
We are pleased to advise that the irrigated track is in great condition and will provide a guaranteed favorable racing surface.

The Club recently completed a major project to upgrade the laneway between the horse stalls and mounting yard with a post and four rail white poly product.  The works have created dual lane access to the mounting yard, improved safety for horses and patrons while also greatly enhancing the visual appeal of facilities upon arrival at the racecourse.  The project was very generously supported by Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock and Think Fencing.
